Curious About Gravity-fed Irons?

I am fortunate to have a dedicated sewing room in my house in Connecticut. It has a perfect set-up for a gravity-fed iron, which uses a large, wall-mounted tank to feed distilled water into the iron.

I love it! No more refilling a tiny water reservoir all day. No more auto-shut-offs. No more weak steam or low temperatures. And it has a removeable aluminum shoe for easy cleaning.

These irons are not for everyone, of course. They take up space and they're heavier than regular household irons. They also can scorch or splatter if used improperly.

Might such an iron be right for you? Check out this video - I'll show you how mine works and share some tips for success.
